Infra-Zeitz Servicegesellschaft mbH is the site manager and service partner of the Zeitz Chemical and Industrial Park. Its 50 employees provide the companies on site with competent site management as well as customized infrastructure and technical services that ensure smooth production processes. The company’s main products and services include process water, demineralized water, steam, recirculating cooling water and industrial waste water treatment. Located in southern Saxony-Anhalt, the Zeitz Chemical and Industrial Park has long been a site for the chemical and mineral oil industries. Only 40 km from Leipzig, it has developed into an internationally attractive and economically successful site over the last twenty years.
The Zeitz Chemical and Industrial Park offers conditions that meet the needs of large-scale industrial companies, but also offers space for small and medium-sized companies. As the owner of the settlement area, Infra-Zeitz has already sold more than half of the 232-hectare site to investors. Upwards of 50 companies have settled here, employing around 1,000 people.
Well-known companies, such as Radici Chimica, PURAGLOBE, Münzing, Jowat, Deurex and Interstarch, underpin the good reputation of the location with a multitude of innovative products. The chemical park is increasingly becoming a location for sustainable chemistry. Here companies such as PURAGLOBE manufacture petrochemical products from recycled raw materials in a resource-friendly manner or Interstarch process regional wheat into high-quality industrial products.
